The start of a new industry and serious Vibration Training research.
This is our team's peer-reviewed paper that was just published in a SPRINGER JOURNAL (Advances in Neurodevelopmental Disorders ) which in case you are not an academic, is prestigious. .
.
This is no normal paper, it is a tool that will be used to clean up an issue called the "replication crisis" an issue many sciences are having ( Aka....no study can be replicated to give the public any assurance that something works as claimed )
The reason for this crisis is simple, the kind of behavior that would have anybody with a real job get fired for incompetence, blacklisted from an industry, get charged by a Commerce Commission or maybe even go to prison etc..., is so normalized other Academics just look the other way.
Billions are being wasted on rubbish research, all the while the public's faith in science is being tested. But SCIENCE is NOT the problem, people not doing their job properly for various reasons. None of which are good enough for the harm they cause, is the problem..
Why this subject......? .
This particular paper is the most important one we could get done as it directly involves disabled children, desperate parents, and a replication crisis being used to create confusion and scam said parents. Not only taking large sums of money off parents, but Grant money being misused / wasted by academics who clearly are NOT interested in helping the science become validated or the children getting real help.
Let's be clear here, Vibration Training is a joke to most people, be they the General Public, Trainers, Drs etc... I think most people would agree with that comment.
And it is a 100% justified opinion because of this crisis. This is the beginning of the end of all that.
The Editor of the Journal stated it was important it got published, as many honest Academics are truly worried about the state of most published research, but can not agree on how to stop it. We are pleased Springer have some initiatives going to act on their concerns.
Please read the research, even if you do not normally.
It is not too long or boring or technical. You can ascertain for yourself how well these "experts" have done their job. And then realize that this is happening not only in Vibration Training for Obesity, Osteoporosis etc...in our industry. and almost every other science we used to hold up as valuable.

Short answer is yes. Vibration Training done properly stimulates all those interlinking systems and tells the body to keep the cell count up high in those areas. Whereas when you get older, without this simulation, you lose mass in all tissue inside and out. ( except fat cells they live forever , evil bastards ) Or the tissue changes composition to something similar to scar tissue.
And yes you can regain any mass you have lost. As you produce stem cells your entire life. Even if you are 90. So brand new cells that can become anything your body needs will happen once the appropriate demand is placed on them.
P.S. Sorry about following my advice and then that happens. It is one of the reasons we were so harsh on HyperGravity, as it was all about full disclosure and goodwill, and they abused that out of greed.
Let me ask around about getting it fixed. It is not as complicated as it appears if you find someone who works using DC motors.

Thank you Lloyd, I appreciate the long explanation. I chose the Hypergravity on your advice just didnt use their traing advice...only yours. The last time i tried to contact Josh for a repair i found out the company had been sold and even though they still have a website and someone answering the phone, there doesnt seem to be any business going on. So i guess im outa luck getting any service. I dont think there is anyone anywhere near that would know what to do with it.
But while I have your attention... Id love to know if there is a known benefit of WBVT to strengthening ligiments and tendons around the knee.

HyperGravity........
The HyperGravity unit you have is a High Energy Lineal machine.( that means it created a strong vibration ) One of the best home machines ever made ( if they carried on working ) .
The reason they ended up on the Blacklist is after years of support by me and the VT community ( our free referral system increased their sales 700% in 6 months ) they did two things we could not stand by. ( sorry for the longish explanation, but I be;lieve in full disclosure )
(a) We found out they had been hiding warranty issues with their home machines all along. Ignoring emails and phone calls, abusing people or blaming them for the breakdowns.This was not hear-say, one of the VT community became a distributor and it all came out very quickly.
(b) When they decided to go into making the Commercial Sized machines.( at my encouragement as Power Plate needed to be up against real machines to show the American public they did not have to put up with plastic Asian made weak machines ) , they did not take my advice and re-design the machines completely. Instead they just made bigger strong machines using the exact same design as the smaller home units.
So after me personally finding them a buyer in the U.K. who wanted to set up a whole studio with 4 of their new machines ( which I did for free to help him expand and grow our industry's goodwill network ) .They promptly broke down after a few weeks of hard work, as in the steel actually cracked like crazy paving, and over-heated enough to create a constant burning smell.
We gave them a chance to fix them, so they sent over the same idiot who designed them, who did nothing but replace some parts and spray some foam on the underside of the machine, which did nothing but make them hotter and crack up faster.
Note: I offered to fly over and redesign them for free. But I was told by Josh his engineer was the best in the world, and I was also told I had the wrong blood running through my veins to ever be better than them ( not joking ).What can you say to that ? .
Instead of admitting their failure, they blamed the new owner for working them too hard, not letting them cool down between customers, and refused to refund her. And generally went crazy and started blaming everybody and anybody while taking zero accountability.
So big bad Lloyd had to do my thing and I got the Lady all her money back.
Turns out they knew the whole time, since their first machine ever, they needed a cooling down time period. Which they kept secret but they could not keep it a secret forever. And seeing as our entire community worked on goodwill, and full disclosure, they had to be Blacklisted.
During this time they dropped any facade of even being decent human beings and did some crazy nasty stuff to the people who had tried to help them all that time. Quite sad really. They did not burn bridges, they blew up the factory that built the bridges.
So you are lucky your machine is still working and you never had to go through any of that. Because the system was so analogue and old school, I suspect you could get it reconditioned. But you would need to ask around. If you decide to do this, I could help by talking to the people doing the work.
Now to the Sonic system units. ..... ( they are all the same, no matter the brand, you are basically standing on a speaker )
They have been around a long time. They feel like being on a mini-tramp that also vibrates. Very spongy and you would find it a joke compared to the HyperGravity.

I purchased a Hypergravity about 12 years ago. Still running strong and powerful but beginning to show signs of having issues, company no longer in business. Also, curious why did this machine make your "bad list"

I suppose I should add, to give full disclosure, in most cases I get nothing from endorsing others products. But in the case of CardioTech we had an issue I wanted to fight.
That was a Researcher of Pivotal machines and CP in children. At our local University. Who was also the sole distributor of the most expensive machine avaiable. But not telling the parents that. Basically emotionally blackmailing desperate parents , while not giving full disclosure of what level a machine would do 99 percent of the tasks needed to fight CP.
The University only tests and uses one companies product. So they can claim ignorance of others. It is all very very unethical.
I have done a lot of writing for CardioTech over the years, and instead of getting paid I get free machines sent over instead. So far I have given away well over 120 machines to children and adults with all kind of conditions who need a machine to start the VT jouirney. plus often these machines are a much safer design ergonomically for those with limited mobility.
That is the result of woirking with others and not attacking everybody with a lower level machine than mine, which quite frankly is everybody. But that kind of mentailty will not help me help other right now. .

Yes, used properly any machine can give results. I have helped support many brands in the past as long as they try to dispel the myths and lies around vibration training or therapy.
If a company puts in an effort I try to help them. Remember I am not anti competitive. Quite the opposite.
What I have always been against is the "just standing on the machine for 10 minutes is Vibration Training" . lie, plus the " it must be pivotal or lineal to work. " ..All the work of marketers, not science based at all.
If you look at any of my work in that area to help clean up the industry, it is always about trying to match a machine up with a proper program. Not some random poses that look cool but do nothing in reality. Or jumping around like idiots. Or putting up fake specifications. Plus not endorsing any company that uses scare tactic marketing to gain sales.
All those things have harmed our industry, not so much the machines ......

Yes I could easily just say nothing but my machines are really any good, all rubbish next to mine, but that is simply not the truth. So many things and outright liars to fight. It is an ongoing job but we have managed to do so much already. By making it worth their while to act better.
Important Note I also stop endorsing companies if they decide to act unethical and my attacks are sustained until it is well known I do not support them and why. But just like some companies I do not endorse any more, if the machine is ok, it is ok.

The forum has not been "abandoned" . I have just been in the mortuary more because of Covid 19. I usually clear the bot spam every day. About twice a day.
As far as stopping it. We have tried a few times, but because our forum is full of words that are flagged by Russian Bots as probably discussing the war ( you would be surprised at how many times we use words that are usually used to describe conflict ) they will find a way through.

Perfect unit to do the job. You need a Lineal unit with quite a large surface.
So YES you can help her. It is quite a simple process but it takes a long time to straighten a spine. As it was literally time , pressure and lack of direct activity that is collapsing it, and that process needs to be reversed.

Lloyd. I am one of your fans and I have a home based VT device that you recommended in 2014 and it has been providing me with health benefits. My lovely 94 yo mother and I share the same household and I take care of her. One health issue that our Health Care providers have not been able to assist with is her bent over posture which is due to weakened aging core muscles and not bone based. No problem. That machine is a Higher Speed Pivotal machine. Quite a decent unit. Which can be used it two different ways.
(a) Pure Vibration Therapy. Which will help with the kind of issues you would see a Physiotherapist for.
(b) Used to work out on, with the aim of changing your body's composition. Fat VS Muscle VS Bone Vs Metabolism etc...
Both are separate disciplines and should never be mixed up with one another. Or it could cause damage to the person using it, or show basically zero results.
Eg.... If the person is standing on the machine lock-legged. Just rocking side to side, which is a balance therapy position. And they make it go faster thinking they will lose weight or something profound in that area, they are going to be disappointed.
(1) The proprioceptive ( balance system in the body, muscle to brain communication ) will not happen because it has to be on a low Fq for that to take place.
(2) Because you are taking no muscles to fatigue, it can not do any of the body composition actions people usually want. ( no matter what the scammer who sold it said ) I say that because that company was one of the hundreds not telling the whole truth about Vibration Training. They told people just standing on it is like an hour at the gym. Very dishonest but I wrote articles warning people. That is all you can do.

Since I am one of your fans after I read both of your websites in their entirety in 2014 which led to my writing a 9 pages summary of them as I interpreted them for my reference and those around me then I purchased a home based WBVT device recommended by you, I proceeded to review your list of your favorites and your non favorites devices and since it was not there, I followed your link to inquire about it with you in here. Yes good unit to use, just DO NOT turn it up. ( keep the fqs low and work on perfect form ) Or you could do more damage than good.
So approx 5 hzs is good.
Follow the basic safety program I made up here for another company. ( link below ) And yes working out the whole body is needed. You need all the stem cells you can get to fix yourself. Which come from every long bone you have.

Hi Lloyd,
I used to attend Vibratrain in both Pukekohe and Auckland city with you. I am now 62 and have cartilage and degeneration in both knees caused by various accidents over the years. Nothing to do with vibration training. About 10 years ago I bought a Gravity HQ Revolution which has a pivotal plate I believe. I haven't used it for a long time as haven't been sure whether it will help or do more damage to my knees. Currently I cycle to strengthen my knees, but would also like to use this machine if it is safe and suitable. Can you advise me as if this machine can safely be used with my knee issues and if so what poses are and aren't safe.

Hi there, we bought the Evolution Gravity Vibration in New Zealand and we love it but unfortunately we are now having trouble with the belt inside the plate box.
It comes off all the time, even at low levels. Is there a New Zealand repair service at all or can this belt be replaced. Any information would be much appreciated. Many thanks Kris
