This from an old article...
An analogy of this would be like jumping off of a chair. ...... So how do you naturally land? With a bend in your legs or course. Now even though this may help, you will still get a large shock if you contract every muscle just before you hit the ground. So that is why your leg muscles naturally relax on impact.
Some trainers say that you “feel” it more if you contract your muscles while doing the squat. Of course you do, but just like you would feel it more jumping off a chair like that, it doesn’t mean its good for you.

Im thinking about muscle fiber alignment with the direction of force of vibrations. Also, what is better muscles relaxed or joints cocontracted. Any thought on that? Thanks.

By the way, I live in an apartment buiding in Europe so, for I have been reading I think that maybe the Bodyshaker Junior is not a good idea. Am I wrong? Maybe a pivotal machine? Which one?
Thank you,

One day all our work will be appreciated. As this disaster gets closer, and all the "experts" show everyone how useless they really are against such a massive problem. ( pun intended )

I was actually involved in the debate right in the beginning of our industry. Only a few companies globally making units. So I can give you the full run down.
The topic..... Some Fqs might be dangerous. ( short answer is NO )
Firstly it was only ever presented as two opposing theories.
(1) If you match and fqs of internal organs ( where were proposed by certain parties to be between 5 hz - 12 hz .) it may damage them.
(2) Deliberately matching those Fqs caused much wanted and needed simulation to those organs. Hence making them work better.
Neither theory has been proven. But the second came closer. It seems all organs like a bit of simulation, no matter the Fq. And seeing as organs are not set in concrete, but free floating. We have no idea what they are actually receiving.
But there was another side to the debate I was the only one discussing while everyone was going on about "my Fq is better / safer than yours ) which was this......
If in the future we did find out there were fqs we should keep away from. Shouldn't all machines come with engineering reports, loaded and unloaded. So those fqs could be avoided . But with companies like Power Plate deliberately releasing machine with random and fake specs to save money in manufacturing. The industry could end up hurting a lot of people.
Side note: Some Fqs are quite simply really annoying. But no dangerous.
Pivotal = approx 15 Hz.
Lineal = anything under 30 hz.

Were frequencies bellow 30 HZ ever considered harmful?

Yes will be able to give you some good tips about the CV100 .
You know what's so sad about the situation with HyperVibe . I would have helped Murray Seaton built an indestructible unit for free. Just as a professional courtesy.
But that was before he started with the highly unethical scaremongering marketing tactics. And attacking my work for no reason. And all the other underhanded stuff that is too long to list. I suppose greed is the root of all evil.

Lloyd unit gets delivered this Thursday so will let you know. Any help you can give with regards to using it is most appreciated.
Regards to the other machine finally got a tech out today, parts arrived last week, I left the package sealed for tech to open. He was from a local company that services Precor, Life Fitness and all of this other companies machines, in spite of my repeatedly being told that they do not have a commercial service contractor. Another lie. He still couldnt fix it, they sent a supposedly new mother board which is broken. He cannot tell me how long this repair will last, he said he has repaired or installed about 10 mother boards in machines over the past couple of months, they keep burning out. He took the bottom unit to bits, there is no fan at all inside, and the motor does sit on the right, where it has always felt significantly stronger throught the platform. So still not fixed. Tech cant understand why they werent contacted in the first place either, especially as he is repairing them for little old ladies and mine is in a business. Should have got my money back when it was offered but stupid me, I wanted to give them one last chance.

Good. Make sure you email when it arrives. I have a few bits of info to share with you to get the best out of those units.
No surprise with the other company. They are on our blacklist for a reason.

Deb..
The CV100 is in the same category as a Power Plate. So same kind of results and limitations.
They seem to be fine with intermittent use through a day. And results are decent but you have to double up on some poses and be super strict. And also make sure the Fq varies on each workout. Using 43 hz as your starting and most comfortable setting.

Hi there
an opportunity has arisen to purchase a CV100 demo directly from Cardio Tech at a good price. Lloyd, I know you said this machine wouldnt go all day like yours, but that it was decent. Exactly how many sessions a day would be reasonable for this machine and what sort of results would it give with the Lineal Program
Thanks

A trainer in Arizona used vibration training to help a 99 year old lady become mobile again and dance at her 100th birthday party. (Excuse the blatant advertising of the company who supplied the machine).
This story isn’t unusual, we see amazing therapy and training results every week; it is however a feel-good story given the circumstances and it shows, again, what can be done to get sedentary people moving again. Movement = Life

Hi Di and Lloyd. After all your good advice via email I have now bought the used Vibrogym! Without the site and your very helpful input I would have made a mistake and wasted a lot of money and time. Big Thanks again.

Vibrogym Classic – phone Vibrogym and ask if they know of any secondhand machine available. These are solid steel, older units. The new Vibrogym units don’t have the same force in the vibration.
BodyShaker Junior – I think this is readily available in UK. Bodyshaker has been around forever.
Both lineal movement – remember the two main types, lineal – directly upright (if working properly) and pivotal – up/down side to side with a centre pivot. Lineal cause a deeper muscle contraction, generally speaking, than pivotal platforms. The down point is that you must put them on a solid floor usually on a dense rubber mat. The room walls can resound the wave as noise – so not suitable for use in an upstairs apartment. Very differently, pivotal machine cause the muscle and any covering fat to shake; that look that you see in videos that is amusing to watch. At higher speeds the shake is still there but the muscle contraction is greater (must be a good quality machine).
For muscle strength I’d go for a medium - high-energy lineal machine always, if you have somewhere to put it – be careful there’s a lot of less force plastic machines, some with known brand names and glossy advertising accompanied by a poster with large number of “every pose you can dream up”. Go for a solid machine and a simple solid, safety program.
http://www.vibration-training-advice.com/consumer-guide-and-safety-program/lineal-and-pivotal-safety-programs
I’m not sure what you mean by quickness, acceleration off the mark – we don’t use any built in programs that change the speed etc. You don’t need that – you need a solid machine, solid program.
Note: If using a high-speed pivotal machine you do need to change speed for different positions. You risk damage to shoulders if you do the arm positions on a pivotal at high speed. Also the plank position on a pivotal is murder on shoulders so we turn it around (upper body on the ground)
Remember to eat a meal or a banana before training – the increase in blood sugar is essential to being able to hold perfect position for the full time of each pose. You quickly use up the food (calories) so don’t worry about that. We have clients that don’t eat enough (lie to us) and they either, obviously can’t hold position, or feel lightheaded.. this applies equally to strong people as well as those who are starting out.
Once you get started, you are welcome to send a short video to me or to Lloyd to pass on to me. I’m happy to sort out any incorrect poses but be aware I won’t be kind. This is the most amazing strength training (tight, lean muscle – not bulk) you can do and it must be done correctly.

Any half decent Pivotal would have given identical results.
Clearly unsuitable units with one parent even stating they need exercise for their hands as well. You can also hear at the end of the video how they are now hoping to in the future be able to make the machines a bit cheaper
I can confirm the teens with cerebral palsy have been told to continue training they must buy a $5,000 unit . And no alternatives are available.
40 teens x $5,000
Makes me sick to my stomach how regular this scam is taking place and how these parasitic acacdemics can keep a straight face during an interview..
