Thank you Lloyd. I guess like everything you want everything. I have seen what the health station has done for my friend and I've read about the hyper vibe, I guess I don't want to just keep reading and do nothing. I see elite fitness sell hyper vibe which I could try in store however do you know who the supplier , retailer, for cv9. I want to feel good on the inside and out and do something with stress and have good sleeps. Get rid of stress weight and feel toned and healthy. Would I be wasting my time with the vm2

Rachael.... Really what you need to do first is clarify the program you want to follow, before you buy. Down to the exact positions. Doing it the wrong way around will only bring frustration and disappointment...
Eg.... For weight loss or toning, upper body poses are as important as squats. Just squats alone are pretty much useless and will only increase your circulation. The Pulse Trainer VM2 is far too small and low to the ground for upper body poses ( I know I have one ) . And it is a weak vibration.
Disheartened & Mellow.... ( as per the above advice )
I feel you ware wanting us to just recommend a machine to you without even knowing what you are going to do with it. So far you are only part way through this process and it would be unethical of me to not point that out.
I understand you are "shopping" but that does mean some full on input from you. I have written enough articles so you can come back with some more specific questions. Or it is like buying a small manual car then forgetting you don't know how to drive a stick shift.
Note: You are worrying about the machine failing you, but without education, you will fail the machine. No matter what it costs.
Am I over stating the issue, .... The amount of $1000 ---- $12,000 machines being resold in N.Z. for a few hundred on second hand trading website is astounding. Think about what could have created this situation.

Hello Lloyd. Wow I'm addicted to reading all this information so I'm clear. I'm based in Christchurch is there a vibra train here. You were kind enough to give me advice member name trendy. My friend has a health station platinum and she has been getting positive results. I'm also aware of the many gimmicks that get sold so you can get quite disheartened when all its been is the wrong information. What interests me is the circulation as I have a poor immune system and losing some weight and toning. Basically what most people want. How would the health station compare to the vm2. Or would both do what I am looking for. Appreciate your advice, I feel your mission to saving lives and helping people feel better about themselves is very humbling. Thank you Rachel

mellow (and disheartenedUS)
You need to match up the program you intend to use and the money you want to spend - to the machine you want to buy. Will the machine be suitable for the program – eg, platform size
You get what you pay for – is very often true when it comes to home vibration machines. A cheaper or lower spec machine can give strength/fitness results only if you are very specific with the program. I’ve even had people email me videos showing their poses – expecting me to congratulate them when they are so far from accurate pose, I want to cry.

Please go back to TZone and ask them to clarify the real frequencies the machines operate at and get back to us.
The Aerobic Golf Brochure says:
On the HD Digital Console display picture: One-Touch Quick Speeds – 25, 50, 75, 100 Vibration Frequency
Under Features: oscillates up to 30 times per second
Seeing as frequency for vibration machines is defined as the “number of times per second” one of these statements is misleading.
I will also be emailing them to gauge their response.

Lloyd....thank you your response. I reached out to CardioTech to see if they had plans of making the CV9 machine available in the US. They responded and said they did not, but recommended a company in the US by the name of TZone. I lam currently reading about TZones VT20 machine. I would appreciate any feedback that you may have about this machine. Thanks for your time.

There are "decent" machines around. As long as you don't my paying for them. The main problem I find is people wanting commercial machine results, from a weaker home product.
Mellow....
If you get a weaker machine, it will work to a degree. But you have to be really strict and it will take longer to see results. So it is no biggy, as long as you are in it for the long haul anyway.

OK, so maybethe RS 2000 isnt for me, because I am a female in my late 50s and not too overweight. I dont want to use it for "therapy", but rather for toning. I do pilates reformer workouts, play tennis, walk. I want something that can tone my arms and overall body. Because of my age, my arms are starting to look loose and getting saggy. I am in the US. Is there a machine for under 1,000 dollars that can do that for me

" I just want a machine that does what it needs to do."
As Di Heap says. It is all about matching up what you want, with what you are prepared to pay for,
Everybody wants a machine that can do everything for the lowest price. But this is more a wish than a realistic option. Which is why we find fake specs so concerning. It takes away your option for an educated choice.
Old article worth a read...

Machine types - Take a look here:
http://www.vibration-training-advice.com/consumer-guide-and-safety-program/machine-reviews
And read this article also:
http://www.vibration-training-advice.com/consumer-guide-and-safety-program/articles-31---36/general-consumer-warning-about-cheap-pivotals
In my opinion the small unit RS2000 is okay – for that type of portable machine.
NOTE: These machines are not the same as High Speed Pivotal, or High or Medium Energy Lineal machines.
For people with low mobility, they can be good for helping blood circulation and keeping the leg muscles relaxed (and even helping bone density). This type of unit should be in every older persons home and hospitals.
For people with full mobility, they can be used for pre-exercise warm up and post-exercise cool down. Also good for therapy, especially of knees when used with the proper safety program. The increased blood circulation promotes healing and the slightly enhanced body metabolism promotes that "feel good" sensation that improves mood and positivity.
The RS3000 is the handlebar version, also useful for people who have limited mobility who can stand on the machine at low speed to help balance and proprioception. Also by using the Pivotal Machine Safety Program the machine can give some simple fitness benefits for some people (particularly those who haven’t followed any form of exercise).
Two factors you need to look at:
1. What do you want the machine for? What are your goals and what is your starting situation – age, weight, mobility, current fitness. This category of machines degrade in performance at higher user weight.
2. Are you happy to pay the price asked for the machine? – in New Zealand these machines can be bought online for 1/10 of the price on that website. Many are available on auction sites, ebay, trademe etc – look at the machine type, not the name. They come from the same factory, no matter what name is on the handlebar (there are some exceptions but few).

I can only speak from experience....
(1) HyperGravityHQ are only young, but so far have done everything they told me they would. Without fanfare or excuses.
I can not say the same for the other parties you mention.
(2) I do not trust companies that cant keep local reps or distributers. And it usually signifies issues that will eventually impact on the consumer.
(3) Every single offshore company that has sold machines into N.Z. has ended up running off once sales slow down.
Belts and spare parts... Yes always good to ask upfront about these things. And get it in writing..
Relevant point....
FitVibe units were sold by a well known Kiwi company. But they "forgot" to tell people the replacement parts ( which only they could get of course ) , were insanely expensive. ( $1000 + )

What franchise? In my opinion – be careful believing what you are told by salespeople, check it all out as you are doing.
I understand that Hypervibe has changed its distributorships often, now supported by Elite Fitness (which doesn’t have the best reputation in this industry). You would be dealing with the real company offshore for any problem.
Hypergravity HQ is a New Zealand company, ask them more questions if you want to. They are new but we are developing a good relationship with them and it’s a good machine. I’m hoping to get one in the studio here soon.

The brochure calls it Gravity Evolution Frequency to 30hz amplitud to 13mm 1000 Wmotor
The main issue with them is that nowhere on their brochure is a business address, only a email and 0800 number so Im concerned about aftersales service. I assume these machines need belts replaced adjusted from time to time.
Today I saw the Hypervibe Performance machine at Elite Fitness which is the same price and seems a similar quality and spec with the advantage of a visible franchise behind it.

Yes have personally tried it . Heavy, powerful and stable. A good contender in the High Speed Pivotal market. And that price is reasonable.
Reputation online.... It will take some time to get feedback. But the people running the company are not newbie's to the market, and the real advantage for you is I suppose local support

A typical conversation with a company selling machines with fake specs ....
Are you 100% sure this machines speed is 50 - 60 hz. .... I am calling you out as a scammer. lloydshaw (0 ) 1:45 pm, Fri 7 Jun
Hi and thank you for your question. No we aren't scammers and are grateful you have bought to our attention the error in our listing. As a result we have updated the listing with the correct information as given by our supplier. Please accept our apologies as it is not our intention to mislead anyone and do our best to supply the correct information on all of our listings at all times. Regards the Team from Total Fitness 2:14 pm, Fri 7 Jun
I was going to say impressive answer. .....But now you have the Fqs ( speed of the machine ) advertised at 20 hz - 45 hz....... Do you know that is impossible on a Pivotal device. And if it was possible it would be highly dangerous. Have you any idea what you are even selling ? lloydshaw (0 ) 2:34 pm, Fri 7 Jun
Hi Again, I have passed on the specs we have been supplied for the compact machines to our supplier for confirmation and will get back to you. Regards the Team from Total Fitness 2:49 pm, Fri 7 Jun
Buy the way. So you know I am not being anti-competitive. ... Good machine at a good price. .....But please sort out the advertised .specs. lloydshaw (0 ) 2:37 pm, Fri 7 Jun

Hi Again, Can you let me know which factory you got the above specs from please? I have also passed them onto our supplier to have a look at. Regards the Team from Total Fitness 2:52 pm, Fri 7 Jun
I sent you standardized specs from one of 4 factories that build those machines.. give or take a kg in weight or 2 hz in speed. They are identical.....http://cnbestuse.en.alibaba.com/productgrouplist-217015083/Vibration_Plat.html .... I have no idea why your supplier would mislead you.. it only puts at risk. lloydshaw (0 ) 3:11 pm, Fri 7 Jun
Hi Again, The Specs you advised are from 4 different companies. It doesn’t mean the specs are the same as the machines we are supplied with. I am waiting for confirmation from our supplier and will get back to you Regards the Team from Total Fitness 4:06 pm, Fri 7 Jun
As you can see the 50hz - 60 hz Fqs ( speed ) is actually the voltage of the power supply.... Rated Voltage AC 110-120V / 60Hz; AC 220-240V / 50Hz....... Your supplier is an idiot. lloydshaw (0 ) 3:19 pm, Fri 7 Jun
Hi Again, The link you have supplied is for a different company to where we get our machines. The machines may look the same but it doesn’t mean the specs are the same. Saying our supplier is an idiot I believe is uncalled for as they may be two totally different specs as they are from two different companies. As previously advised I have requested confirmation from our supplier as to the specs of the machines we sell and they supply. Regards the Team from Total Fitness 4:04 pm, Fri 7 Jun
I will state this as a fact,. ... There is no way that machine goes up to 45 hz. ...There is now way you honestly think that machines goes up to 45 hz. ... Low Speed Pivotal and High Speed Pivotals can not be "confused" with each other. And are designed differently for a reason. It would be insane and VERY unsafe to have ANY Pivotal go that fast. I know because I run both types at my studio..... I now again think you are just being dishonest . lloydshaw (0 ) 7:01 pm, Fri 7 Jun
And just to confirm. A HZ = vibrations per second..... It is an engineering term. Not an opinion. ( Like KH Per Hr is to a car ).... It is not rocket science. So yes if anyone is "confused" it is because they are stupid or dishonest.... Remember these people sell the machines, they are not some uneducated layperson. . lloydshaw (0 ) 7:21 pm, Fri 7 Jun

Consumer watch warning
Rock Solid Wholesale are listing all of their stock with fake specifications.
The machines they are selling are widely known throughout the "honest side" of industry to only reach Frequencies of approx 12 - 15 hz. So the massive exaggeration of 30 hz claim is highly deceptive.
No need for it except good old fashioned dishonesty.

As per the review, yes they scamming you, All the machines they list are being deliberately sold with fake specs ( off the website..... *TypesFrequency – 0-30 Hertz )
Triangular etc..... just mean uncontrolled. No real direction. This is usually a manufacturing error kind of like having a wobbly wheel on a car.

Jon...
Here is my critical thinking process on this subject ( for Pivotal machines only )
Pivotal companies often sell their product along the lines of " it has the same motion as walking or running " So lets use this as a gauge of how best to use the device.
A world class sprinter will spend 99% of their time on drills. Which is just repeating perfect form at a slowed down pace, breaking down the run into separate movements, until they have perfected the said movement. Occasionally they will "let it rip" and go 100%. Doing this the wrong way around, or rushing the process, only causes injury. Not world records.
So if a Pivotal company tells you that 27Hz is 100%. Then you treat that 27hz with the exact same respect.
2 important points.....
(1) It is the repeat drills with perfect form that give sprinters the bodies they have. Not the occasional full throttle sprint.
(2) How many people do you really think ever make that perfect form category ?
I think the reason I have seen nothing outstanding from Pivotal users to date, is this lack of respect and understanding of what they are actually trying to achieve. And companies selling the higher end machines, with less understanding than me ( who does not even specialize in Pivotal ) should be concerning to everybody.

Lloyd is away in the mortuary today , so I will give you my opinion Jon
18 Hz in correct position has an undeniable training effect. It is hard work, even for athletes we have put up on the pivotal machine we have that goes to 22Hz. What we found is backing it off high speed seems to allow a deeper workout and more control.
But my marker in this industry has been what I get to witness. As Lloyd said, people who have been using the very high speeds for many years and had access to a Galileo, seem no fitter, more cut or stronger than anyone else. And when they came here, had to be corrected on every position.
So even though on paper it seems to be super important to use higher speeds, other factors, like holding perfect form, obviously play a much greater part.
