Do you own the HyperGravity machine and if so why do you need to replace it?  

Without knowing more about you (do you or your boys have any health or fitness disabilities we need to know about?) - You need either a medium (or high) energy lineal machine OR a high-speed pivotal to give the sort of strength results you want.  I recommend you try out some machines before you buy using the list Mike M has put up.  Also, as you probably know, you need to consider where you will put the machine in your home. I used to promote and distribute hyper gravity machines, but no longer do due to their brake down rate.

Well, like Lloyd said. That amount can get you the 2nd-nicest Wave, the Air Reflex, or the Contour Plus if you want to wait a bit. Or anything in the DKN range or the Nitrofit Deluxe. All are reliable and should give results.

My budget is 5,000 US dollars.  My boys are 17 and 27... I am 58 and want to keep muscle..... I am currently using a Hypergravity machine and I live in Texas, USA.

Congratulations, Patty. Maybe we can get a bit of a Wave group going here, I just wish someone else posting here had the Contour Plus. I understand the reason for the holdup with those is that the display has been redesigned and is being slow to be sent over. Wonder how it differs from the old one?

I did see a rather odd posting as I was searching for forums with Wave users. Here's a link. The guy actually says he has the Contour Plus. Tell me what you think. I may try to direct the author to this forum, if he's interested in posting over here...

Finally took a step of faith today and placed our order with Rochelle for the Air Reflex Machine.

Mike M, Rochelle did tell me that it could take up to 4 weeks to receive, but that more than likely it would arrive sooner, but no guarantees. She took the time to set up a call with Dr. Jasper Sidu for me so that I could ask a few questions regarding the use of the machine for my husband. He was very helpful and it made me feel good to know that he would be available for questions after we begin using the machine. This will be a journey for us and we plan to keep a log of my husband’s progress. Like you, I would like to see more sharing of info from Wave owner’s….-perhaps there is a way we can begin something in the U.S!

Lloyd…I did let Rochelle and Dr. Jasper know that I had been talking with you regarding the Wave and your recommendation. After your note about the ability to perform the safety program on the platform, we taped off the measurements of the Wave and the other two machines…and it was easy to see we needed the large footprint that the Wave offered. I think hubby will be able to maneuver much better on the Wave platform. The Wave is pricey, but hopefully the machine quality and air technology will prove to be a good investment. Side note…we already have friends / family lining up to use it!

Where in the US, what's your budget, have you already used any machine(s), how old are your kids?

(Just a few of the questions I might come up with; guess I'm just more nosy than Lloyd).

I emailed Lloyd asking him which WBV machine he thought would be good for me and he suggested I ask this question on the forum....

Well I am still not sure about which machine,  Lineal or pivotal,  would be best for me.  I am looking for dependability and a machine that would be good for me and my family.

Lloyd, thanks so much for taking the time to give me your unbiased opinion.  I am relieved to hear I made an ok purchase with the k1.  I will let you know how it goes when its delivered.  Its so hard to tell whats true and what isnt regarding wbv machines...and nearly impossible to try them out before you purchase.   Thanks again

Hi Lloyd.  I have already ordered a pivotal machine before finding this website.  It hasnt arrived yet, but I am hoping you might tell me if I made a good purchase.  Have you had or heard of anyone elses experience with the Noblerex K1 Platinum.   I ordered it last week and it is expected to be delivered to me this friday and I am nervous that i may have made a bad investment

I've been pondering why the way the Wave club is is bothering me, and I think I have it figured out. I am used to shopping on places like Amazon, which usually offer a lot of product reviews. In fact, I first looked on there for a machine but they mostly had just cheaper models. But the online reviews by purchasers offer you some positive feedback on your purchase, meaning there's someone out there who bought the same item and likes it. These same people might also give you some pointers on using the item to best advantage, or warn against some weak points it may have. It's a very good thing, IMO.

And then, I buy a Wave Contour Plus which machine has been out since 2009 IIRC, and it seems I can't even find one other owner of that model on the entire internet. In fact, I have only MikeP here and my chiro IN TOTAL who are both Wave owners and only Mikep posts where I can see it... and he doesn't have a Contour Plus.

I have a long period to wait before I get anything positive in the way of feedback here; does anyone know what forum(s) all the Wave owners go to? Because it doesn't seem to be here, and I KNOW I can't be the only one who's bought one...

I'm on holiday but my passion for vibration training doesn't take a holiday - I spent an hour today talking with a guy who was selling home fitness equipment at a mall in a city in Australia. He had a low speed pivotal machine for sale (it was an okay machine for home use as a fitness starter and for therapy/circulation).

This guy was using the machine he was selling - unlike some marketers we know - and he wanted more information on what results his machine could give, how to use it effectively, and on other machine types etc. We had an "education" session.  It could be said he should have known more about his products but he also sold other equipment and the vibration machine was fairly new. He'd already started finding out all he could. It was a really worthwhile time and to his credit this sales guy could easily see the difference in machine types and uses. I used the YouTube video of Lloyd Shaw's program to show the IVTRB Safety Program and actively showed how to adapt this to use with the pivotal machine.

We even talked about the high speed pivotals and their use for real training but seeing the "full body triceps dip" was the clincher - we now have one salesman wants a lineal machine with side vibrating handlebars (I tried not to push the brand I work with). I'm looking forward to welcoming David to the Vibra-Train, Auckland studio one day. I'm sure he went home tonight to talk to his wife about planning a holiday. 

The best thing - a salesman who can present the vibration platform he sells, with some real knowledge about it and who will send people with more questions to this and some other websites. He wont be claiming his machine can do everything.

Does the size of the vibration plate make a big difference for fitness and or therapy training.  For example...30 by 24 versus

27.5 by 13.

We took a look at the DKN XG10 and it apprears to be quite impressive, but it apprears there is a lot more assembly than the Wave machines.  Any input on this company......DKN  that we need to consider

Thank you for the info on your chiro. I don’t think we will have time to do the 70 mile trek there and back…and we really want to get a machine ordered before this weekend is over. We are leaning toward the Wave but we are still looking at the Nitrofit and just beginning to look at the DNK that you mentioned. It will depend on the price we can get as we would prefer the Air Reflex if it would ship a lot quicker and they shave off that extra $500.

I will call Rochelle tomorrow - she indicated that I could talk to Jasper to ask a few questions about my husband’s use of the machine - since he has the spasticity problem in his legs and the bolts/screws still in his lower back.

Neither of us are heavy people, so we don’t need a platform that supports 300 plus pounds, but we do need one that won’t make his condition worse.

Thank you too for your unbiased input about the Wave Club. Your comments make sense…things can get out of control sometimes on forums. I do think that their quoting that the Wave Club is a $600 value is a joke though. I found just as much info if not more on vibration.training.com and simply surfing the internet…all for free. I can understand their logic of trying to keep their training programs for their specific users…but if they surfed the internet and You Tube…they would see they don’t have anything proprietary on their videos…other than their machine of course. Truly, if I had not found your forum, I would not have given even the slightest consideration to the Wave machines…because their web site does not show enough. People want/need to see the machines in use - similar to how you demo on the You Tube. I can see how the Wave club could be good for new users that have not done a lot of research on the web.

With all that said…thanks again for all your time and efforts with helping those of us that need to be educated in vibration training. I am anxious for us to give it a try and see what benefits we gain from following your programs. And I promise, I won’t be one of the selfish people that don’t share after we get our machine!

My chiro is Dr. Scelfo who is right here in Winston off of NC 150. He is actually in a shopping center that includes a Food Lion etc. I mapped a route up there from Charlotte and it says it's about an hour and 20 minutes going on 85 and 52, a bit over 70 miles. His office is actually a bit south of Winston between that and Welcome, but it's a Winston-Salem address. He has two of the Pro Elite which is Wave's heaviest machine with the largest platform. I would call ahead though he's not too busy, usually.

Sorry It took me so long to respond I was in the Mountains. I ordered my Wave and they ship out on Tues and Thursday I believe. I received mine in 8 days. I am in Arizona. I am telling you it is worth the wait and the money. I value Lloyds opinion and that is why I went with WAVE. You would not be sorry with the Air Reflex. To be honest I dont even use the club. I apply everything from this site. I know that I am going to get an unbiased and educated response from Lloyd and company.

MikeP, i was wondering - when you ordered your Aireflex, did it take them a month to ship it to you? What can you tell me about your experience as a Wave customer? How do you like the Wave Club so far?

I've just been given access to the Club, and so far, I find it a little disappointing. I was hoping there'd be a forum there where we could read about what other Wave users had found out, tips and so forth, and there isn't one.

I am going to be in Charlotte in mid July for a few days...was your chiro anywhere near there....thanks for the hammer analogy..makes sense...when you see people on the pivitols...they are shaking all over...unlike the lineals
